Hay varias maneras de mantener tu cinturón en buen estado y diferentes cuidados que debes darle, en función del tipo de cinturón que tengas.

Si tu cinturón es de cuero graso, te recomendamos que lo hidrates con cremas incoloras o de color, ya que aportan flexibilidad a la piel y evitan que se sequen con el paso del tiempo.
Coge un trozo de tela o toalla y unta una pequeña cantidad sobre todo el cinturón. No olvides dejarlo secar unos minutos antes de usarlo.
Las pieles de ante o nobuck son muy elegantes y sedosas aunque algo más delicadas. Si se manchan, lo ideal es pasar un trocito de papel de lija muy fino o una esponja seca sobre la superficie para mejorar su apariencia.
Los cueros brillantes o lacados son más difíciles de marcar, por lo general se puede aplicar una pequeña cantidad de crema del color correspondiente sobre la ralladura del mismo, así disimularemos notablemente este detalle.
Si tu cinturón es de lona o está hecho con textil, puedes lavarlo a mano con un poco de agua y jabón suave.
Con respecto a las hebillas, es cierto que su brillo puede opacarse con el paso de los años, pero es sencillísimo pulirlas con un poco de goma de borrar blanda.

If you want your belt to last you for many years, follow these tips:
If your belt is made of oily leather, we recommend that you hydrate it with colorless or colored conditioner or shoe cream.
They´ll provide flexibility to the cowhide and prevent it from drying out over time.
Wipe the belt down with a slightly damp cloth before using the shoe cream or conditioner.
Then take a piece of cloth or towel and rub a small amount over the entire belt. Do not forget to let it dry a few minutes or better yet, overnight before using it.
Suede or nubuck are elegant and silky but somewhat more delicate.
If they are stained, use a very fine piece of sandpaper or a dry sponge on the surface to improve its appearance.
Shiny or lacquered leathers are more difficult to mark. In this case usually a small amount of cream of the corresponding color can be applied on the grated one of the same, thus we will conceal this detail remarkably.
If your belt is made of fabric, gently hand wash it with a little soap and water in case of stain.
What about buckles? Overtime buckles can lose their shine, but it is very simple to polish them with a soft eraser.
